Standing in line is a universal experience, but in our city, it has become an extreme sport. Some people respect the queue, others “temporarily step aside” and mysteriously return three spots ahead. The result is confusion, quiet frustration, and occasional passive-aggressive sighing.
The Official Queue Management Program aims to restore fairness and dignity to public waiting lines. Proposed measures include clearly marked queue zones, digital ticket systems for busy locations, and basic “queue etiquette awareness campaigns.” Advanced solutions may involve trained volunteers known as “Queue Guardians” to gently enforce order.
Supporters argue that structured queues will reduce stress and improve efficiency in shops, clinics, and public services. Critics say people will ignore the rules anyway, but organizers remain optimistic: even small improvements can turn chaos into calm. After all, civilization is built on knowing who’s next.
